Member labs are required to meet and adhere to the following qualifications/requirements:
- Lab may declare up to seven specialties. Specialties include; model & die, crown & bridge, ceramics, implants, removables, diagnostic waxing, and CAD/CAM technology
- Lab must have at least one board certified technician (CDT) per specialty that has completed entire Dawson Core Curriculum Seminars.
- No more than one specialty per technician.
- Technicians must attend additional weeklong hands-on accreditation training of designated specialty and pass written testing.
- Lab must agree to inspection by accredited technician/doctor teams and present at least three documented cases in different specialties.
- Labs must agree to offer and allow doctors to work with specific technicians for consistent results.
- Accredited technicians must attend at least one Dawson Academy course annually.
