A Politically Incorrect View of ‘Successful’ Dental Practices
Having had the advantage of more than 60 years in dentistry, I’ve had an opportunity to see the long-term differences that result from different attitudes about what it means to have a successful practice.
Before we can talk about a successful practice, we need to get a perspective on what we mean by success. For more than 50 years I have been actively involved in postgraduate dental education. As of today, more than 50,000 dentists have been exposed to The Concept of Complete Dentistryå¨ curriculum.
We have been able to follow the progress of many of those dentists through an Alumni Association, focus groups, study clubs, and personal observation. The stated purpose of The Dawson Academy is to make good dentist even better so we are passionate about helping dentists achieve real success. We are also very realistic in recognizing the differences in those who make it and those who fall short.
