Your Study Club Leader
Dr. Feisel Haji
“I am so pleased to be your new study club leader. This year will include live meetings and self-study in order to have more flexibility. I’m looking forward to sharing our knowledge and skills so that we continue to evolve as clinicians.
“Please let me know how I can help you in any way in this exciting journey towards practicing complete dentistry as envisioned by Dr. Dawson.”
Dr. Haji is a proud graduate and alumni member of the Dawson Academy of Advanced Dental Study. He continues to be involved in dental education with the Dawson Academy as an ambassador and mentor to dentists following the curriculum. Dr. Haji is a member of numerous respected dental organizations.
In the last 5 years, Dr. Haji has devoted over 500 hours in continuing education, studying with some of the best specialists in the field, in order to further develop and advance his skills in implant, esthetic, functional, and restorative dentistry. In recognition for this significant accomplishment, he will soon receive his Fellowship Award with the Academy of General Dentistry, a highly respected and rarely achieved distinction.
Passionate about his patients’ well being, his mission is to optimize their general health and improve the function, appearance and comfort of their teeth, particularly with respect to implant dentistry. Dr Haji actively gives back to his community with Project Restoring Smiles in Toronto Canada.
Your Strategic And Technical Leader
Henry Hintze, MDT
Henry Hintze is a German-Canadian business leader and a Master Dental Technician whose passion for modern digital dentistry has improved the quality of life of countless patients suffering from complex oral challenges. He embraces the principles and techniques taught by The Dawson Academy, and he’s an active advocate for lifelong learning.
Born in Europe into a family who worked in medicine, engineering, and communications, it’s no wonder Henry grew up with a talent for problem-solving. After earning a Master Degree in Dental Technology (MDT), he studied dentistry at the University of Hamburg to develop chairside skills in a hospital setting. Shortly after graduating with an MDT, Henry opened his first dental lab in Hamburg Germany.
Early on, Henry was mentored by Dr. Alexander Gutowski, whose innovative principles are often compared to those of Dr. Pete Dawson. Henry has always been eager to roll up his sleeves and get to the bottom of a patient’s oral health challenges, and it’s this inquisitive, determined nature that’s led to so many dental professionals trusting his treatment planning expertise.
Henry’s passion for excellence and desire to never stop learning quickly propelled him to the forefront of complex oral technology — teaching dental technology classes at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology, co-owning a large dental lab, co-designing the RDT exams, and lecturing across Canada and the U.S. as a leading expert.
Henry founded Masters Dental Lab in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he’s proud to work with industry professionals worldwide and help provide lasting results for patients with complex oral challenges. There’s nothing he appreciates more than being able to support dental professionals and the patients they care for, and he’s honoured to have made it his life’s work.
Along with clinical leader Dr. Feisel Haji, Henry is thrilled to co-lead The Dawson Study Club for Atlantic Canada/Toronto.

For doctors wanting to explore the complete care dentistry, being a member of a study club is a great way to broaden the frontiers of dental knowledge. For experienced dentists that completed the training with The Dawson Academy, study club is not only the way to continuously refresh the protocols and stay in touch with the most recent developments in The Academy, but also to pass the knowledge to colleagues and friends.”
