STANLEY LIU MD, DDS is as a Professor of Otolaryngology, and of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by courtesy, at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is co-director of the Stanford Sleep Surgery Fellowship, and preceptor to the Stanford Oculoplastic Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Liu practices the full scope of sleep apnea surgery including nasal, palate, tongue base, hypoglossal nerve stimulation, genioglossus advancement, and maxillomandibular advancement (MMA).
AUDREY YOON DDS, MS is a collaborative team member at Stanford Medical Center in the sleep apnea research. She has developed pioneering the Distraction Osteogenesis Maxillary Expansion (DOME) technique for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. She is one of the leading orthodontists to perform the ‘Surgery-first approach’ for orthognathic surgeries and developed its application for maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) surgery for OSA.
MARK PIPER MD, DMD maintains a private practice at the Piper Clinic in St. Petersburg, Florida. He devotes his skills exclusively to debilitated pain and TMJ patients, including adults with failed surgery and children with joint injuries. He is the founder and full time director of the Piper Education and Research Center, an institution dedicated to the advancement of TMJ education through lectures, hands on experiences, clinical fellowships, and research study groups.
DeWITT WILKERSON, DMD is the Resident Expert of Integrative Dental Medicine at The Dawson Academy and President of AAOSH. He will moderate the Symposium and tie together what is taught with the rest of the Dawson Academy philosophy of care.
