Course Description

Students will learn communication tips and tricks between the referring dentist and specialist.

One of the frequently expressed frustrations of Dawson graduates is working with the interdisciplinary team to achieve their desired goal. During this webinar we will review how to plan cases appropriately to successfully communicate to the specialist the overall treatment plan.

Taking on the role of “quarterback” for complex cases is a learned skill. This live stream will provide you with tips and tricks to stay in control of your case and help successfully tackle any case with your interdisciplinary team.

Instructor Dr. Brian Sang

Dr. Brian Sang is a native of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. After attending Marshall University, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Subsequently, Dr. Sang completed a General Practice Residency at WVU Hospital where he received intensive training in laser and implant dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, Academy of General Dentistry, American Equilibration Society, and Advanced Dental Implant Study Club. Dr. Sang is currently pursuing his accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, consisting of a rigorous didactic and clinical exam, which only 700 members in the world have achieved.

Understanding the importance of continued education in a field that is ever-growing, Dr. Sang has pursued several postdoctoral courses in various areas of clinical dentistry, including orthodontic, and cosmetic courses. Considered a “continuing education junkie” by his peers, he completes hundreds of hours a year. He has studied with some of the greatest dentists in the world from Newton Fahl in Brazil to Dr. Pete Dawson and Dr. John Cranham in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Sang has attended the Zimmer Institute in Carlsbad, CA for in-depth implant training and is currently attending a year long course to achieve his fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.

Cancellation Policy:

For registrations paid in full at time of registering, requests to cancel or transfer registration in a Dawson Academy course, lecture, or event will be accommodated until 90 DAYS PRIOR to start date. Upon request a refund will be provided minus a $200.00 non-refundable deposit, or a one-time course, lecture, or event transfer, which remains valid for 12 months. Less than 90 days prior to course, no refunds or transfers will be issued.
