Dentists Treating Healthcare Crisis

Course Description

There is an important major shift in Medicine & Dentistry toward an integrative Medicine practice model. This model promotes a proactive whole body health philosophy and an expanded role for your practice to implement valuable cutting edge services for your patients.

A simplified way to explain integrative dentistry is by focusing on 4 Bs:

Bite– the critical relationship between coordinated muscles, joints, and dental occlusion. The effects of incoordination can result in worn teeth, loose teeth, sore muscles, headaches, and TMJoint injury.

Bacteria– the critical source of oral and systemic symbiosis, or infection and inflammation, in the mouth, gastrointestinal tract and bloodstream.

Breathing– the critical role of airway obstruction and sleep apnea in many of our patients who brux, clench, and experience systemic side effects such as gastric reflux, type 2 diabetes, cardiac arrythmias, daytime fatigue, and high blood pressure.

Body– the critical relationships of systemic inflammation, nutrition, physical activity, stress, sleep, autoimmune disorders and oral health, as well as total health and wellness.

This seminar will train you in the science, screening, coaching, and treatment of many dental/medical considerations. You will be introduced to new services that you can immediately implement. Your patients will thank you for significantly improving their total health as you effectively differentiate your dental practice as an integrative health center!

Don’t miss this tremendous opportunity to dramatically impact both your patients’ health and your practice profitability model.
