About the course
Unfortunately, most people suffering from TMD and occluso-muscle pain are being under treated. Even worse, many patients being treated with an oral appliance have been given an incorrect appliance, which is often poorly fabricated. In some situations, an incorrect appliance can even exacerbate or advance an already present problem.
Splint therapy does not have to be complicated or confusing. In this course, you will develop a proper understanding of anatomy and a diagnostic process, allowing you to provide splint therapy that is predictable and profitable.
Splints are more than a piece of plastic you give to someone when you don’t know what else to do. After this course, you’ll know exactly which splint to apply on patients’ exhibiting signs and symptoms, relieving previous frustration and increasing your patients’ confidence in your ability to treat them effectively. End the guessing game and register today!
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the different types of splints and what they treat
- Diagnose patients properly in order to prescribe the correct appliance
