The Northeast Virtual Study Club is designed for the life-long learner and those who want to start their journey in Dawson principles and complete care dentistry. We are happy to welcome dentists, lab technicians, and dental consultants who are excited to learn, build camaraderie, share ideas, and grow!
Our club will meet 6 times a year; 5 virtual and 1 in person. We have both formal learning opportunities, with guest speakers, and informal discussions about challenging cases. Our focus is to offer opportunities for learning and gaining perspective, from Complete Dentistry through to Digital Dentistry.

Dr. Berwitz earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
During his training, Dr. Berwitz developed a deep interest in Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Following his graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. He became an attending dentist at Overlook Hospital, where he taught new residents and treated special needs patients. Dr. Berwitz is proud to be on staff at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, where he continues his interest in hospital-based dentistry and working with special needs patients as well as being on the Head and Neck Cancer Team.
To stay current in the ever-changing profession of dentistry and to provide the highest quality of care to his patients, Dr. Berwitz continues to participate in continuing education courses. He has taken many courses in implant, general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Berwitz is a scholar with the prestigious Dawson Academy, where he currently participates and leads a Study Club. Dr. Berwitz has also received his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor that only 6% of General Dentists have acquired, and is currently working towards his Masters with the Academy of General Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Berwitz enjoys cooking, fishing, tennis, working around his house, and spending quality time with his family (wife Anna, their sons Eli and Zac, and their dog Millie).
