Mastering Composite Resin for Esthetic Excellence

Master direct resin restorations from start to finish, gaining confidence in complete examinations, smile design, and balanced occlusion for both single tooth and full rehabilitation cases. Delve into color theory and learn techniques to create invisible class IV composites, alongside practical exercises like direct resin veneers and additive equilibration. You’ll leave equipped with the skillset to confidently phase treatment using direct resin, enhancing esthetics and function without compromise.

This course will help each dentist leave with confidence in their ability to perform direct resin restorations with excellence from the preparation to the final polish. We will review the importance of a complete examination, smile design, and balanced occlusion whether bonding a single tooth or doing a complete resin rehabilitation. Case presentation and profitability will also be reviewed.

Attendees will learn the color theory for tooth restoration, and how to opaque and mask dark stained teeth. Each practitioner will leave with greater expertise and skill to complete an invisible class IV composite, and do an additive equilibration or “bite opening.” Participants will perform 6 direct resin veneers in a single appointment in combination with the additive equilibration. We will review the technique of using a diagnostic wax-up and vinyl matrix in order to complete these procedures with efficiency and consistency. In addition, we will show how the matrix can be used to create an intraoral mock-up for increased case acceptance.

Join us and gain confidence in perfecting the occlusion of direct resin restorations for longevity and discuss warranty and maintenance of these cases. This course will give each dentist the skill and ability to phase treatment with direct resin without compromising esthetics or function.

The course was what it promised. It certainly covered the material well and it is "everyday" dentistry at it's best. I feel confident in direct composite veneer protocol, injection molding and shading now.

This is a very practical course that can be implemented immediately. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a conservative approach to Complete Dentistry. Less tooth structure loss with preparations, great aesthetics, and a lot of fun.

Come prepared to do a significant amount of hands on work with composite. The first and second day may seem like a lot but the third day you will feel much more confident in your skills! Bravo, Dawson!
