This course will help each dentist leave with confidence in their ability to perform direct resin restorations with excellence from the preparation to the final polish. We will review the importance of a complete examination, smile design, and balanced occlusion whether bonding a single tooth or doing a complete resin rehabilitation. Case presentation and profitability will also be reviewed.
Attendees will learn the color theory for tooth restoration, and how to opaque and mask dark stained teeth. Each practitioner will leave with greater expertise and skill to complete an invisible class IV composite, and do an additive equilibration or “bite opening.” Participants will perform 6 direct resin veneers in a single appointment in combination with the additive equilibration. We will review the technique of using a diagnostic wax-up and vinyl matrix in order to complete these procedures with efficiency and consistency. In addition, we will show how the matrix can be used to create an intraoral mock-up for increased case acceptance.
Join us and gain confidence in perfecting the occlusion of direct resin restorations for longevity and discuss warranty and maintenance of these cases. This course will give each dentist the skill and ability to phase treatment with direct resin without compromising esthetics or function.
