Dr. Stephen Krist DDS

Stephen M. Krist, DDS has been practicing in South Tampa for over 30 years. Upon graduation from Emory University School of Dentistry, he took over his uncle`s practice which was established in 1953.

Dr. Krist has special emphasis on cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well the treatment of TMD and sleep apnea with dental appliances. He has built his practice on the pillars of intergrity and trust and enjoys many patients who have been with him throughout his career.

Dr. Krist is dedicated to continuing education and serves as a visiting faculty memebr of The Dawson Academy, the L.D. Pankey Institute, and the University of Florida General Practice Residency Program.

All new patients to Dr. Krist`s practice receive a comprehensive examination of all the oral sturctures (teeth, gums, muscles, and temporomandibular joint). A full set of diagnostic digital radiographs are taken and if needed, upper and lower study casts are taken to better understand the overall situation of the oral cavity. Co-diagnosis with the patient reviewing the current health of the existing oral condition, is the ultimate goal of the first comprehensive appointment. Together, a plan is designed to ensure the patient has the maximum comfort, function, health, and esthetics in the future.
