Course Description

One of the 4 ways to create a stable occlusion is to restore teeth. In many cases, some type of porcelain restoration(s) is required. However, there are many instances where composite can be your best ally. Placing composite in certain areas to create ideal occlusal contacts or trying to determine the correct incisal edge position are just a few examples of how composite can be used as a restorative option in Complete Dentistry. Advantages of using composite include less chair time, little or no lab expenses, and having the option of phasing comprehensive treatment over time. We will discuss and demonstrate various ways of using composite as a valuable tool in achieving a harmonized occlusion.

Instructor Dr. Neeraj Khanna

Neeraj Khanna, D.D.S. is a senior faculty member and study club leader at The Dawson Academy. Dr. Khanna also owns his own practice, Khanna Dentistry, in Geneva, Illinois, which provides comprehensive dental services, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, tailored to patient’s unique dental health needs and personal goals.

Dr. Khanna is a noted international speaker who’s lectured for such associations as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and European Society Cosmetic Dentistry, and at meetings like the Chicago Dental Society-Midwinter Meeting and the Dubai World Dental Meeting.

He’s involved with a number of dental professional associations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and American Equilibration Society.

Cancellation Policy:

For registrations paid in full at time of registering, requests to cancel or transfer registration in a Dawson Academy course, lecture, or event will be accommodated until 90 DAYS PRIOR to start date. Upon request a refund will be provided minus a $200.00 non-refundable deposit, or a one-time course, lecture, or event transfer, which remains valid for 12 months. Less than 90 days prior to course, no refunds or transfers will be issued.
